Dark rich flavors with a little bit of heat, this recipe is extra easy, you just need the right ingredients in your fridge and some fresh Mushrooms.

250 grams of cremini or common white mushrooms
3 tablespoons soya sauce
1 tablespoon chili paste
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sesame or olive oil
A splash of fish sauce


  1. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a bowl, whisk thoroughly
  2. Add all of the mushrooms (cleaned) to the marinade and toss thoroughly, let marinade for up to 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or pellet grill on MEDIUM-HIGH (~500F (260C) to grill the mushrooms directly.
  4. Season the cooking grids with oil immediately before grilling. Grill the mushrooms, move them often to get the appropriate sear marks, grill until soft roughly 10 minutes.
