GRILLED POUND CAKE FRUIT TOPPER

INGREDIENTS

2 cups Fruit (use a variety of berries for the best taste)
2 tbsp. Sugar
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
5 3/4 inch slices of Pound Cake

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan combine fruit, sugar, and lemon juice and place on side burner at MEDIUM-LOW heat. Cook for roughly 10 minutes or until fruit is nice and soft and releasing natural juices
  2. Pre heat grill on MEDIUM heat then switch to MEDIUM-LOW
  3. Grill pound cake for roughly 3 minutes flipping every 45 seconds until golden brown
  4. Plate pound cake and top with ice-cream then drizzle on berry mixture
  5. Enjoy
